The Soo Theatre Project, Inc. is hiring a general manager. Located in Sault Ste. Marie, the Soo Theatre Project also includes the STARS program, or Soo Theatre Arts Resource Studios. The general manager would report to the executive director and oversee both programs. Responsibilities include day-to-day operations of the theater and STARS activities and events, and assisting the executive director.
Qualifications:
- Personal attributes should include being highly motivated, thriving in a changing environment, and having ability to work with a team.
- Business management experience is required
- Effective organizational skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Experience supervising staff
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Experience with Sage Peachtree software preferred
- Appreciation for the arts
