Upscale pearl jewelry seller, Chu’s Pearls, has moved its headquarters from Ann Arbor to Holt. Chu’s Pearls has experienced double digit growth since it opened in 2004.
Owners Elizabeth and Samson Chu’s new 1,100 square foot location brings the 
couple closer to their 16 independent distributors.
“We grabbed the office space so now we can really get out there and meet the press, so to speak, and start some advertising,” says Elizabeth Chu.
Chu expects the growth trend to continue. The Chus recently added an online jewelry catalog, hired distributors in Ohio, and have plans to expand their operations to other states.
“Eventually it will be nationwide,” Elizabeth Chu says.
