Since moving to its Okemos location in August 2007, Converged Network Solutions (CNS) has expanded into 3,500 square feet of space and added six employees.
CNS is network solutions company that prides itself on offering unique products. CNS President Bob McGowan says its wireless networking technology, MERU, is a huge attraction for his clients. MERU gives businesses wireless networks that enable voice, data and video simultaneously without losing connections or performance.
"This provides a big cost savings and great improvement in service for our clients," McGowan says.
Since opening in Okemos, CNS has more than doubled its staff, adding six new members to the original four-member team.
"We have grown that much because we had a very well-defined plan of attack," McGowan says. "This was based on building a model that provides an exceptional level of service for our clients and reinvesting all the profit back into the continued growth of the business."
McGowan expects his company to grow by 100 percent in the next 12 to 18 months. CNS had to take over an additional office space in May to accommodate company growth.
