KI Technology Group is packing up and moving from its existing 2,400 square foot location in East Lansing to a 2,900 square foot space just across the parking lot from its existing Hannah Plaza office.
“It came up kind of unexpectedly,” says KI Technology Group President Linda Lynch about the move. “The real reason we’re moving right now is because of other changes happening in Hannah Plaza.”
Some other businesses in the plaza needed expansion room, causing a space shuffle among other Hannah Plaza businesses. Incidentally, the unexpected move is good for KI Technology, which needs some extra space.
“This will give us enough space to expand our in-store repair area,” Lynch says. “We have three guys who are tripping over each other right now.”
Though Lynch doesn’t expect to hire any new employees immediately, she says she’ll look to expand her employee base down the road.
KI Technology has been in Hannah Plaza for more than seven years. Its new location is 4750 Hagadorn Rd., Suite 20.
“I like this location,” she says. “It’s fairly easy to get to if you’re in this part of town. There’s a lot of traffic in this plaza and there’s some good space on the retail side.”
