Tanish Stiger, 25, is the new owner of Perfection Salon in Delta Township.
The young businesswoman is not a hairstylist, but decided to give the salon business a try.
“Things presented themselves and I just went for it,” she says.
Stiger bought the 1,000 square foot salon in November 2008. She’s been making some small renovations to the salon.
“I’m looking to get some more stylists into the facility,” Stiger says. Stiger employs two stylists and a barber, and wants to set her business up for future expansion.
“Depending on how fast this picks up, I plan on expanding salons down the line, and I’m also looking to start other business ventures,” she says. Stiger would also like to open a recreation facility for teenagers.
“They say there’s not a lot to do on weekends and this would kind of be a way to keep the kids off the street and out of trouble.”
The salon’s address is 4324 W. Saginaw Highway.
