Pottery Shop in Grand Ledge Adds New 1,500 Sq Ft Scrapbooking Business

Piece of Mine Pottery Owner Jerren Osmar has added a 1,500 square foot scrapbooking section to his existing Grand Ledge business.

“We’ve always wanted to add a scrapbooking side to the business because our facility is so large,” Osmar says.

When large scrapbooking store Pages in Time closed its doors, Osmar purchased some of the inventory and decided to add a scrapbooking component to his business.

Though Osmar doesn’t plan to expand his business physically, he is remodeling the portion that will host the scrapbooking component. The scrapbooking section will occupy 1,500 square feet of the 4,500 square foot building.

“The Scrapbook Nook” is now open and offering classes for scrapbooking novices.

“The idea is that it will add some visual flair to the Grand Ledge strip,” he says, adding that he works with glass at night so Grand Ledge citizens can see the flame.
