The Axiom Group, which is a Lansing-based IT solutions company specializing in digital document management, is one of several Mid-Michigan-based companies that topped Inc. magazine’s list of fastest growing private businesses.
From 2004 to 2007, Axiom grew by 172.8 percent. Since opening in 1993, Axiom has grown from two employees to 35 employees. By the end of the year, 80 percent growth will result in 10 to 15 new jobs.
“We are very proud of our successes and of how far we’ve come as a company, particularly our placement on the Inc. 5000,” said Joel Price, vice president of development at the Axiom Group.
Inc.’s 5,000 list rates private, independent companies based on their business models and growth. Each company must also record at least $2 million in revenue for 2007. Axiom recorded $2.2 million in revenue in 2007.
