Southside Lansing Tech Company Triples in Size in Four Years

Dewpoint, a Southside Lansing IT company, has tripled its employee base over the last four years and added two locations outside of Lansing.

In 2004, Dewpoint had 18 employees. Now 70 people line the Dewpoint payroll.

“Over a four year period we’ve grown significantly and our revenue trend is definitely with those numbers,” says Andy Kotarba with Dewpoint.

Dewpoint is a technology integration company that builds partnerships with clients to help them become more efficient by using specific technology systems and strategies. For some companies, this means rolling out a new accounting system. For others, upgrading technological infrastructure is more effective.

“We have a lot of really bright, strong, brilliant engineering types in my company that really understand the technology we go to market with, and we have a lot of really smart sales people that work with our clients,” he says.

Kotarba says Dewpoint’s growth will continue through 2008.

“There’s no plans to stop,” he says. “We need two or three more immediately, so it’s working pretty well. The good news in this is that these are extremely well paying jobs.”

Kotarba's positions pay high five-figures to low six-figures.

“That’s the nice thing about technology, it’s a good field and we’re trying to build it,” he says.

Dewpoint recently opened a Southfield, Michigan, location and has one other location in Indianapolis.
