Okemos-based Jackson National Life Insurance Company is adding 50-70 jobs in the Michigan market a year and plans to continuing adding jobs at this rate for the next couple of years.
“It’s been tremendously productive and people love working here,” says Jackson National Chief Financial Officer Andy Hopping.
With $80 billion in assets, Jackson National Life Insurance Company is one of the l
argest companies in the region. Most of the yearly growth occurs at the Okemos branch in the high tech sectors.
“From a recruiting standpoint, there’s a great attractiveness to an area like this for people who reach a stage in their lives where they want to raise families,” Hopping says.
Hopping expects the growth to continue over the next few years as the company expands and continues to be a part of the global market.
