East Lansing-based KI Technology Group, a company of ten full time employees, has been adding at least one new employee every year and plans to continue this steady growth through 2008.
“When you’re talking about a company of ten, that’s significant,” says Linda Lynch with KI Technology. “In 1999, there were two of us. Since then we’ve grown by a factor of five.”
KI Technology Group is an IT consultant service that started as a software company in 1982. In 1999, KI Technology Group added a technical services division, which has seen steady growth through the last nine years.
“We don’t just sell a technology solution because we think it’s a cool technology solution,” Lynch says. “We want to bring solutions to the client to reduce costs or make staff more productive to increase their bottom line and make them more successful. We view ourselves as a partner and technology provider.”
Lynch says 2009 should be a fairly good growth year for KI Technology Group.
“I’m confident that we’re holding our own and while in 2008 we still may not have big growth over 2007, I think 2009 will be a really good year for us,” she says.
