The Lansing-based
Michigan Health & Hospital Association (MHA) — which represents every non-profit hospital in Michigan — was just selected as one of the nation’s top healthcare employers, based on a national ranking from
Modern Healthcare magazine.
The
Modern Healthcare Best Places to Work in Healthcare 2010 award is based on a judging system that is weighted 25 percent on an organization’s nomination and 75 percent on its employees’ survey results — making the award significantly representative of staff sentiment.
“To be honored with this prestigious award for workplace excellence is another example of how the Lansing region can be home to award-winning corporate culture,” says Spencer Johnson, president of MHA.
“Our employees voted us a top health care employer in the country —which is good not only for our 80 employees, but also for our region and the community hospitals we serve.”
