Lansing Internet technology firm, i2integration, has developed three
plug-in software modules to add to the popular DotNetNuke content management system.
The three new plug-ins let users manage their
own event registration, accept credit card payments and post member-submitted
events. The firm's John Forsberg says that before these technologies were
developed, users had to pay Web developers to manage these functions.
i2integration has used DotNetNuke, a free content management
system, since 2004, but the addition of the three new services have given the
company an international presence overnight.
“Now we’re getting requests from all over,” Forsberg
says. “Yesterday we got calls from San Diego, Ohio and New Zealand. Literally
overnight we went from a regional company to an international company.”
The overwhelming response to CollaborativEvents, EventReg
and i2CanPay has prompted the company to start working on other modules that
will work in conjunction with DotNetNuke.
