Providence Consulting Co., a Downtown Lansing-based technology company,
will add five new employees to its ranks this year.
Providence helps business owners integrate technology
into their businesses, so they can become more efficient. Providence sells
hardware and software and offers support services to customers once the new
technology is implemented.
Providence owner, Jeff Dettloff, is predicting triple digit
growth in 2008. In 2007, the company saw revenue growth of 140 percent.
“It’s really a good thing for us that other companies in
the area are growing; that stirs the pot,” Dettloff says.
Dettloff started the company in 2003 and says he has no
interest in leaving the area.
“It’s a good place to raise a family and it’s a good
place to work,” Dettloff says.
