Jeff Dettloff’s Lansing-based technology company has charted 138 percent growth for the last year, on the heels of similar growth the year before. Providence Consulting, started with nothing in 2004. Now Dettloff employs four people full-time, and one half-time.
The company specializes in serving small to medium sized businesses with their information technology needs and he has just been named the “Emerging Entrepreneur” by the Greater Lansing Business Monthly, a magazine that covers the Capital region.
Dettloff says his is not the only technology company that’s growing here, but the public is just learning about the field’s expansion.
“Growth was happening. It just wasn’t publicized,” he says, lauding the Capital Area IT Council for its work in alerting the public to the growing field.
Chris Holman, the business magazine publisher, cites Dettloff’s long commitment to helping people, solving problems, and making technology easier for Lansing businesses.
