There are many local businesses in the Capital region that don’t have the time to promote themselves

online or through social media. Now, these businesses can count on
RelyLocal Lansing to help them with all of their online marketing initiatives.
RelyLocal "is an inexpensive and effective way of getting new costumers,” says Ken Whitinger, owner of RelyLocal Lansing. “When a local business signs with RelyLocal Lansing, they become part of a ‘local only’ business directory for the greater Lansing area. [We also maintain and] promote these partnered businesses through social networking and co-op advertising.”
The goal of the RelyLocal initiative is to reconnect consumers to locally owned businesses and to educate them on the importance of shopping local.
“If everyone would spend just 10 percent less at national chain businesses and spend it locally, that would drastically improve our local economy and jobs market,” adds Whitinger.
RelyLocal Lansing has already hired three account managers to assist local business partners with their online marketing and promotions.
