J.D. Power and Associates recently rated Okemos-based Two Men and a Truck No. 1 in customer satisfaction among full-service moving companies.
The study is based on evaluations from consumers in the United States who used a full-service moving company within the past 12 months. Satisfaction is measured across five factors: insurance/valuation coverage; loading and unloading service; packing services; shipping estimate process; and transportation of belongings.
Two Men and a Truck ranked the highest with a score of 809 on a 1,000-point scale. Graebel Van Lines (808) and North American Van Lines (807) were close behind.
"Customers who used Two Men and a Truck, Graebel Van Lines, or North American Van Lines all report very high levels of satisfaction with their moving company," says Michael Drago with J.D. Power and Associates. "However, it is Two Men and a Truck's consistently strong performance across all aspects of the move that primarily contribute to their top ranking."
Two Men and a Truck has had an international presence on the ground for some time, but now it has quite an extensive presence on screen, as well: Two Men and a Truck’s boxes makes a nice cameo in the new Cohen Brothers movie, Burn After Reading. The boxes appear in a scene with George Clooney.
Two Men and a Truck’s Kate Rexrode says the company’s been vamping up its product placement efforts. Two Men and a Truck boxes and trucks can also be found in I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry and the new Miami Vice movie.
“We have a lot of success with product placement because our boxes are so cute,” she says.
