Web Ascender, a company focused on delivering web design, programming and internet marketing services has launched a new division of the company called DNNspot, with an exclusive focus on product development.
"The DNNspot division builds products for a very popular content management system called DotNetNuke," says Web Ascender's President, Ryan Doom. "Millions of companies have downloaded the system and there are lots of websites built using
the DotNetNuke platform as the core to manage their content."
The DNNspot division has also enabled Web Ascender to sell packaged products to companies around the world, including South Africa, Australia, Spain, the United Kingdom and the Bahamas.
Essentially DNNspot offers easily installable add-on modules for a website framework, allowing a company to download DotNetNuke and then purchase one of the DNNspot modules to add features like an e-commerce store, chatroom module, photo slide show or a way to make tabs in content.
"Web Ascender is more about understanding a company's issue and finding what best way to solve it," adds Doom. "DNNSpot already has the solutions for some problems, but DNNspot clients already know the problem and are searching for the exact solution. "
