The former Holiday Inn West on Saginaw Highway and the nearby former Best Western Hotel were recently purchased and rebranded by Prism Hotels & Resorts. The Holiday Inn is now affiliated with the Ramada chain, and the former Best Western hotel is now a Days Inn.

The Days Inn and Ramada chains are part of the Wyndham Worldwide Corp., which also owns well-known hotel brands such as Super 8, Knights Inn and Travelodge.
“We’re always looking to maximize our portfolio across the marketplace,” said Gus Stamoutsos, Wyndham’s executive vice president for franchise development.
The hotel’s new owners have completed renovating guest rooms and are
working to update commons areas, he said. And the hotel is working to
reestablish a good relationship with the Greater Lansing Convention
& Visitor’s Bureau.
