Michigan State University (MSU) pediatrics Professor Donald Greydanus received the 2010 Outstanding Achievement in Adolescent Medicine award from the Society for Adolescent Medicine for the contributions he’s made to adolescent medicine.

Greydanus, a professor in the College of Human Medicine’s Department of Pediatrics and Human Development, works out of the college’s Kalamazoo Center for Medical Studies.
“This award, from Dr. Greydanus’ peers in adolescent medicine, honors his lifetime of work in the field,” said Dele Davies, chairperson of the Department of Pediatrics and Human Development. “It also highlights the tremendous contributions he has made to the Society for Adolescent Medicine as well as to the field of adolescent medicine in general.”
Greydanus last year also received the College of HumanMedicine’s Outstanding Community Faculty Award.
