University Technologies Moves to EL Tech Center, Expects to Add to Staff

The thriving East Lansing Technology Innovation Center gained an anchor tenant with the addition of the MSU Technologies office, which coordinates the movement of university research from the lab to the marketplace.

According to excerpts from the article:

MSU Technologies will move its 15 full-time employees from a 3,600-square-foot space in the MBI International building on the southwestern edge of campus into 6,600 square feet on East Grand River Avenue in the building that once housed a Jacobson's department store, city and university officials said.

East Lansing opened its Technology Innovation Center last fall to be business incubator space for new technology companies.

Officials said the MSU Technologies office plans to add five full-time employees this year and create an intern program. The move is expected to be complete by mid-summer.
