It’s been almost a year since
Dorsey Schools, a career-focused educational institution, opened its doors in Saginaw.
Come Oct. 20, the school will celebrate it’s first full year with an open house at 11:30 a.m. at 4390 Bay Road.
The community is invited to the event, which will feature a brief ceremony, followed by some refreshments.
The Saginaw campus opened its doors last September and prides itself on contributing to the rebirth of Michigan's economy, while meeting the workforce demands of local employers with skilled graduates in the fields of healthcare, business, and pharmacy.
"We appreciate that the Saginaw community has welcomed us with open arms," says Dorsey Schools’ president Patricia Fisher. "We are proud to be a part of the solution in providing quality educational alternatives. Our students--and soon to be graduates--are the real winners. With their new skills, they will be highly prepared to enter the workforce and make their mark on the world."
Dorsey Schools strives to prepare individuals for career opportunities, technologies and certifications for the culinary, medical, business, legal and computer fields.
