When the
Gourmet Cupcake Shoppe mentioned during a
feature story with Mid Michigan Second Wave that they were considering opening more shops in the near future, there really wasn't much of a timeline in mind.
It looks like that may have changed now as the company's
Facebook page recently stated that owner Carrie Fisher is considering a location in Bay City. The company, which was started in Midland, already has a shop in Saginaw at 404 Court Street that opened last September. That shop is currently open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and until 4 p.m. Saturday.
" BAY CITY FANS....weigh in.....WASHINGTON ST vs. SAGINAW ST! Help us decide! Remember, its your cupcake shop, we just work here!," posts the company on its Facebook page.
The Gourmet Cupcake Shoppe uses top-quality ingredients and makes a large selection of cupcakes as well as other treats.
