Irving's on Main ready to serve up tasty dishes

The former Daddy O's restaurant on Main Street in downtown Midland has a new face, name and owner. It opened as the new Irving's on Main this month, with an official grand opening taking place September 24.

The new owners are Jacob and Amber Wendt, who began renovations over the summer on the interior and exterior of the building. Outdoor seating complements the new menu, which focuses on fresh, homemade soups, sandwiches and burgers.

Irving's on Main also serves a selection of wine and beer including many that are Michigan-made, which we always love to hear. Midland diners can check out the new offerings at the corner of Main and Townsend streets, close to Dow Diamond and Chemical Bank.

Business hours are 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday to Thursday, and 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. It'll be closed on Sundays.
