Kerkau Manufacturing in Bay City is making some new changes this spring, including more than $1 million invested in machinery and equipment--which in turn is leading to plenty of new jobs.
Kerkau makes precision machined components like pipe flanges. It announced in February that it added new high-precision machinery that will help factory productivitiry, along with a twin spindle turning center and measuring technology.
Over the last five years, Kerkau has invested more than $7 million into its Bay City facility, including creating dozens of new jobs.
