Northwood University receives grant from Midland Area Community Foundation

The Midland Area Community Foundation announced it will be supporting Northwood University's upcoming improvements to the school's Midland campus.

The community foundation aimed for a project that will benefit the community as a whole as part of Northwood's planned improvements.

The grant from the MACF will go toward a restroom facility at the Gerstacker Athletic Complex.

Northwood University President Keith Pretty says, "This grant will help Northwood improve the quality of its athletic facilities which serve our student-athletes and guests. We are very grateful to the Midland Area Community Foundation for their continued support."

The MACF has been granting funds to projects that improve the quality of life in Midland and Gladwin counties since 1973. The foundation works with residents who want to maximize charitable gifts and support collaboration on local needs and issues. Their activities include grants, scholarships and events.
