Rusho's Auto Detailing opens in Bay City

Bay Auto Auction in Bay City and Dealers Auto Auction in Clare are under new ownership thanks to the acquisition of its parent company by ADESA.

ADESA, a company based in Carmel, Ind., recently purchased Premier Auction Group. In the deal, ADESA became the owner of Bay Auto Auction and Dealers Auto Auction as well as East Tennessee Auto Auction (Fall Branch, Tenn.), Montpelier Auto Auction (Montpelier, Ohio), Premier's Las Vegas Auction (North Las Vegas) and Wisconsin Auto Auction (Lomira, Wis.)

ADESA has 70 locations throughout North America, mostly located near metropolitan areas with a large concentration of used car dealers.

"The acquisition of the Premier Auction Group demonstrates our commitment to increasing our dealer consignment business and enhancing the scale of our offerings to our national consignors," says ADESA President Tom Caruso. "This acquisition, along with the construction of a new auction in Las Vegas, highlights (our) focus on growing our position in the North American market."

Over time, the six locations will be integrated into ADESA's current infrastructure and resources, ultimately offering the full scope of the company's product and service offerings.

As part of the deal, Bob Hubregsen, president of Premier Auction Group, will serve as a vice president for ADESA.
