That's why the company was proud to announce that its manufacturing facility recently received certification by Quality Assurance International--known in the industry simply as QAI--as an Organic Processing Manufacturing Facility. To gain such certification, all aspects of production and handling must comply with the provisions of the National Organic Program Regulation, which is based on the Organic Foods Production Act. The certification is given after inspection of methods, practices and substances that can be used in the handling and manufacturing of botanical products.
"Receiving organic process certification by QAI, an internationally recognized organization, adds additional independent verification of Graminex's ability to deliver quality Flower Pollen Extracts and other certified natural organic products," says Colleen May, of Graminex quality assurance.
Graminex offers products from raw pollen extracts, powders, tablets or capsules to finished consumer retail goods for private or branded labels. Graminex products are sold in more than 44 countries on six continents.
The company's headquarters are located in Saginaw.
