J.E. Johnson, Inc. reorganizes for expansion

Midland-based J.E. Johnson, Inc. is going through some growth spurts currently and to help make sure all of their clients’ needs are being met they have done some organizational changes.

The company, which recently expanded into the Tennessee market after beginning to provide mechanical contracting services in Clarksville, Tenn., has been experiencing considerable demand for its services throughout the Volunteer State and has recognized the considerable future growth potential.

"Our Michigan operations are established but the potential for growth in Tennessee requires more management focus to capitalize on the opportunities there" says Jim Johnson, the company’s president and CEO.

In order to maintain that focus, the company announced it has named Greg Younk the vice president of the company’s Tennessee operations. Younk has been with the company since 1981 serving in various capacities including general foreman (1982), project manager (1986) and vice president (1996). Younk will now be responsible for the Tennessee operations.

Jason Johnson has been named vice president of Michigan operations. Johnson has been with the Company since 1993 starting in field operations, then field foreman (2001), project manager (2006) and operations manager (2008).

J.E. Johnson, Inc. provides design, fabrication, installation and service of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, plumbing and mechanical systems to the commercial, industrial and institutional markets. The company was founded in 1979.
