SBDC hires new office coordinator

The Small Business Development Center Great Lakes Bay Region announced it has a new office coordinator on board.

Iesha Swilley will be handling that role, which also means she'll be the point of intake for entrepreneurs, clients and business owners who work with the SBDC in its regional office, located at Delta College in University Center. She'll work with clients to determine their needs, connect them with business consultants at the center, and handle overall coordination of office operations.

Swilley is a graduate of Arthur Hill High School in Saginaw, earned her bachelor's degree in communications from Wayne State University, and is pursuing a master's degree at Saginaw Valley State University.

Her experience includes office roles at Wayne State University and Delta College, and running her own company as co-owner of Jugo Juicing Company.

The SBDC offers training, market research, and business counseling to entrepreneurs and small business owners in the Great Lakes Bay Region and Arenac County.
