After 25 years of competing in business, the owners of
Mashue Printing and
Tigner Printing have made the decision that the best way to serve the customers of the Midland and Coleman areas is by working together.
Mashue Printing and Tigner Printing will merge, effecting April 1, with the merged company retaining the Tigner Printing name. Operations will continue at the existing 221 East Railway location in Coleman, while the Mashue Printing shop in downtown Midland will close, permanently, March 31.
"We want to reassure our customers that they will continue to receive the great service they've come to expect from us," says Don Mashue. "We are committed to remaining in contact with our customers through face-to-face visits, email communications, website, fax and telephone. Meeting the needs of our customers is our priority, and that will not change."
Mashue will remain on staff during the transition and will also serve as a consultant and part-time sales coordinator. Jack Tigner will continue of the president of the new organization.
"Together, Don and I have 75 years of industry knowledge--including more than 25 years operating our own printing businesses," says Tigner. "We believe this merger will allow us to harness the strengths of both companies to benefit all of our customers."
