Wolverine Bank promotes new manager

Wolverine Bank, based in Midland, announced it has promoted Denise Avery to regional deposit manager. 
 
Avery will now be responsible for commercial and consumer deposits, including business development, throughout the state of Michigan for all the bank's locations. She joined Wolverine Bank in 2010 as a branch manager, and most recently was senior deposit manager for the bank.
 
Avery has a bachelor's degree in business management from Northwood University, and before coming to Wolverine Bank, was a project manager working on client relationship management, project management, and employee development. She also has been an instructor at Mid Michigan Community College, teaching management theory and application.
