Meet Brandon Morey, owner of
Iron Dame Baked Goods and
Crêpes Et Amis.
Brandon’s journey began with a shared dream between him and his wife—a desire to create a unique experience in Midland. Originally inspired by the idea of a coffee shop, the couple sought to differentiate themselves in a crowded market. After much research and reflection, they landed on crepes, something they felt would stand out.
"We wanted to fill a niche," Brandon shares, explaining how the couple’s vision took shape. What began as a food truck turned into a brick-and-mortar crepe shop, and over the years, the business expanded with handmade pastries, croissants, and breads. Their passion for fresh, high-quality products and a genuine love for people is what drives both Iron Dame and Crepes Et Amis today.
More than just food, Brandon sees his businesses as a way to bring people together. "Food is a catalyst for being social," he reflects.
His love of connecting with people, hearing their stories, and offering a quality experience is at the heart of what he does. During the challenges of COVID-19, the Midland community rallied behind Brandon’s businesses. Through local campaigns and relationships he had built, his businesses received the support they needed to stay afloat.
Looking ahead, Brandon is eager to expand both Iron Dame and Crepes Et Amis, staying true to his values of freshness, quality, and community, while stepping further into his role as a serial entrepreneur.
