The ArtPrize competition honors innovative artists each year in Grand Rapids, and includes three northern Michigan artists this year.
Excerpt: Three Northern Michigan artists have made it in to the top 20 at this year's Art Prize competition in Grand Rapids.
These are, Manton artist, Dan Heffron's creations. His art prize entry is a collection of 20 wood-carved sea animals called "Poseidon's Paradise."
