It's always good to see a local northern Michigan company expand outside our area, like recent events at TranTek Automation.
Excerpt: A Traverse City robotic systems company is reestablishing its presence in West Michigan after the economic downturn with the opening of a design and service facility near the Gerald R. Ford International Airport.
TranTek Automation recently opened a 5,000-sqaure-foot facility at 4345 44th Street SE in Kentwood. It marks the company's first presence outside of Traverse City since a facility on Elmridge Drive in Walker closed in 2009.
