For the second year in a row, Innovative Analytics Inc. has made the Inc. 5000 ranking of the nations fastest-growing private companies.
Innovative Analytics Inc. came in 1,911 on the list of 5,000 as a result of its three-years sales growth of 141 percent.
Innovative Analytics, Inc. provides data management, medical writing and statistical analysis services for clinical, pharmacogenomic and biomarker research trials.
Its clients are primarily pharmaceutical, biotech and medical device companies that are developing therapies and devices which require regulatory approval for use in humans.
Innovative Analytics is currently supporting drug development in the areas of oncology, muscular dystrophy, endocrinology and renal therapeutics, as well as several medical device trials.
In 2009 revenues for the company were very hard fought, with all customers looking at their budgets critically, says Jim Dancy, Innovative Analytics co-founder.
"Innovative Analytics typically is viewed as a high-value provider and that enabled the company to compete in the harsh environment," says company co-founder, Patty Ruppel.
Inc.'s list of fastest-growing private companies represents a comprehensive look at America's independent-minded entrepreneurs. Music website Pandora, convenience store chain 7-Eleven, Brooklyn Brewery, and Radio Flyer, maker of the iconic children's red wagon, are among the brands featured on this year's list.
And just to step back and toot our horn a bit, Detroit-based Issue Media Group, which publishes Second Wave, made
the list as well.
To qualify for the Inc. listing, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by June 30, 2006. Additionally, they had to be based in the United States, privately held, for profit, and independent.
