Course teaches entrepreneurs how to plan a business

Entrepreneurs seeking information on how to plan a business can find it in an upcoming course offered by Cornerstone Alliance Small Business Services.

The Core Four Business Planning Course will cover marketing, cash flow, and operations planning. As part of the course, the personal goals of the business owner, business ethics, and other personal development topics will be presented as part of "success planning."

The program is recommended for people with a business idea, owners of growing or changing businesses and those who want to borrow funds for their business.

The course will take place on Thursdays for six consecutive weeks, beginning Thursday, Oct. 6 at Western Michigan University Southwest Campus, 2785 E. Napier Avenue, Benton Harbor.

Deadline for registration is Oct. 3.

The course fee will include all materials and is $150. Financial assistance may be available to eligible participants. Pre-registration is required, and full payment of the course fee is required at registration. The Cornerstone Alliance Small Business Services program provides technical, business and financial assistance to small businesses, especially those who are income disadvantaged, women, and minority owned businesses.
