The event is a made-over, edgier version of the KIA's past fashion shows. Glam Slam shines the spotlight on unique designs found at Kalamazoo' top local boutiques and is intended to bring a touch of the excitement of the New York fashion scene to the sixth annual show.
The evening celebrates wearable art with a runway show, featuring professional models in provocative hair and makeup creations. The evening also will feature a cocktail hour and salon demonstrations of fabulous hair and makeup. Catering will be by the Raddison.
Attend to find out how to come home with a Tiffany clutch or a spa package from SolSpring and other items.
Lana’s Couture is one of the retailers whose fashions will be seen at Glam Slam.
"If you’re used to shopping in Birmingham or Chicago, you’ll feel at home here," says Lana Hawkins, of her
downtown shop. She offers fashion lines from Insight, Tribal, Hazel, Katherine Barclay and many more. To complement her fashion lines, Hawkins also features affordable accessories and shoes.
