The next Entrepreneurship Forum at
Western Michigan University will feature a local expert in commercial real estate brokerage, development and management, and founder of a commercial real estate firm.
Rick DeKam, of Midwest Realty Group, will address the breakfast meeting. His expertise includes investment analysis, debt structure, contract negotiations, and other related issues. He has represented a number of corporate clients, completed numerous large land assemblage, and developed a wide variety of commercial facilities. He also serves as a consultant on numerous industry issues.
He founded Midwest Realty Group in 1998 to focus on buyer and tenant representation, which he felt was underserved. Today, the firm's clients include regional and national companies throughout the Midwest and the United States.
Midwest Realty Group focuses on site selection and large tract assemblages. Drawing on the varied industry experience of team members allows the firm to use collaborative, out-of-the-box thinking to provide solutions for clients on a variety of projects.
DeKam will speak at 8 a.m. Friday, Feb. 8, in Room 2150 of Schneider Hall.
