Pulte Homes soon will come with Whirlpool kitchen and laundry appliances as part of a multi-year deal between one of the nation's largest home builders and the world's leading manufacturer of major home appliances.
Whirlpool will provide appliances from its Amana, Whirlpool, Whirlpool Gold, Kitchen Aid and Jenn-Air lines. The lines will match Pulte Homes that are built for different phases of home ownership. Centrex is for entry-level buyers, Pulte Homes for those moving up and Del Webb for active adults.
"In addition to this being a partnership between two Michigan-based companies with proud histories, Whirlpool Corporation offers products that align perfectly with PulteGroup's unique multi-brand strategy," says Deborah Wahl Meyer, senior vice president and chief marketing officer for PulteGroup.
Terms of the agreement were not released.
