Nilam Patel, MD

Jessica Segedy, DO ProMed Ped
Nilam B. Patel, MD; Evan Pelc, DO; and Jessica D. Segedy, DO, have joined
Borgess ProMed Physicians
.
Dr. Patel is a pediatrician at the Woodbridge Hills location. She has been a clinical instructor in the Department of Pediatrics and Human Development at the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine, and has taught in the MSU College of Human and Osteopathic Medicine.
She completed her pediatric residency at Michigan State University/Kalamazoo Center for Medical Studies. She earned her medical degree from American University of Antigua-Kasturba Medical College International Center in Manipal, India.
She completed medical technology clinical training at the William Beaumont Hospital School of Medical Technology in Royal Oak, Mich., and also earned a bachelor’s degree in medical technology from the Lyman Briggs College of Natural Science at Michigan State University.
Dr. Pelc has joined Borgess ProMed Physicians Pediatrics in Richland.
He completed his pediatric residency at the Children’s Hospital of Michigan in Detroit, and obtained his medical education at the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in East Lansing.
He earned master’s and bachelor’s degrees in biomedical engineering from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. Dr. Pelc is board certified in Pediatric Advanced Life Support, Basic Life Support and Neonatal Resuscitation Program. He holds professional memberships with the American Academy of Pediatrics, American College of Osteopathic Pediatricians, and the American Osteopathic Association.
Jessica D. Segedy has joined Borgess ProMed Physicians Pediatrics at Woodbridge Hills in Portage.
Dr. Segedy obtained her medical education at the Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences-College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kansas City, Mo. She most recently completed her residency training in pediatrics at Michigan State University/Kalamazoo Center for Medical Studies. Dr. Segedy received a bachelor’s degree in human biology and psychology from Michigan State University.
She now serves as a clinical instructor in the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and a member of the Michigan Osteopathic Association. Dr. Segedy is board certified in neonatal resuscitation, pediatric advanced life support and advanced cardiac life support.
All are accepting new patients.
