Borgess Critical Care team grows by one

Richard Lovy, a specialist in critical care, has joined Borgess Critical Care.

Borgess Critical Care is a team of physicians and mid-level providers dedicated to care for individuals hospitalized in the intensive care units of Borgess Medical Center.  

Dr. Lovy is a graduate of Midwestern University--Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine, Downers Grove, Ill.

Following his internship and internal medicine residency at Mount Clemens General Hospital, in Mount Clemens, he earned a Fellowship in Pulmonary Medicine and Critical Care at Botsford General Hospital in Farmington Hills.  

Dr. Lovy is board certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine and Critical Care.  

Most recently, he worked as a pulmonary and critical care attending physician with St. Mary’s Health Care in Grand Rapids.

He serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor with Michigan State University College of Human Medicine as well as Clinical Faculty in the Department of Internal Medicine with the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine.
