Coming up this summer, in response to member’s requests the
Kalamazoo Regional Chamber of Commerce will launch its new business professional development series called Chamber U.
The series is intended to provide area professionals with ways to strengthen, grow and prepare for trends and changes in their field of business. Each event will offer attendees with an expert panel, a featured keynote luncheon and a resource binder.
The topics covered will include: human resources, workplace wellness, marketing, sales and social media. For each of the five events in the series, the Chamber has established an advisory committee of eight to 10 area professionals to provide guidance on the program’s overall direction and content. Each advisory committee is responsible for developing the most relevant topics to be taught in each of the five focus areas.
The series schedule is: Human Resources U-July 11; Wellness U-Sept. 12; Marketing U-Nov. 14; Sales Force U-Jan. 16, and Social Media U-March 6. All courses are 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Ticket information is available

"The Chamber U Series seeks to provide a competitive edge to business professionals by sharing the latest trends and transformations in each of five focus areas," says Steward Sandstrom, CCE, president and CEO.
