B.C. Enquirer: Winners of annual award for good deeds named

Each year the Battle Creek Enquirer searches for people who’ve made notable differences in their community. Those individuals receive the paper’s annual George Awards. The winners for 2011 are Laura Otte, Vera Simpson and Kacie Brunner, Melissa Matson and Gus Groat. The honorees will be recognized at a reception April 26 at the Battle Creek Country Club.
