Sports and Recreation: Jobs Landed

Sarah Lee has been named marketing manager for Greenleaf Hospitality Group.

Lee will be responsible for overseeing the Marketing Department's initiatives for Greenleaf Hospitality Group, which includes food and beverage, retail outlets within the Radisson Plaza Hotel and Suites, and Holiday Inn West.

She previously worked as the director of communications for the Kalamazoo Regional Chamber of Commerce.

Greenleaf Hospitality Group, a privately held Kalamazoo-based company, owns and operates the Radisson Plaza Hotel and Suites, the Holiday Inn West, Wings Stadium Management Company and the professional hockey team Kalamazoo Wings.

Aaron Williams of KemperSports has been named the general manager of The Golf Club at Harbor Shores.

He brings to the position nearly 20 years experience in golf course and hotel industry management.

He joined KemperSports in 2010 and with them he has served as general manager at Tapatio Springs Golf Resport in San Antonio, Texas, and as transition manager at Stonebridge Golf Club in New Orleans, La.

Williams began his career in the hotel industry with Hyatt Hotels. He went on to become the food and beverage director at El Conquistador Resort in Puerto Rico. He then began his career in golf course management at the Shipyard Golf Club in Hilton Head, S.C. He previously has been manager of operations at Bull Valley Golf Club, rated one the 30th most difficult by Golf Digest.

Northbrook, Ill.-based KemperSports operates golf facilities like The Golf Club at Harbor Shores Harbor Shores as well as athletic clubs, lodging venues and major sporting events, including nationally ranked courses and tournament venues.
