When he's not writing, The Keel's managing editor MJ Galbraith travels the world as a musician. Here he takes a break during a recent trip to Lisbon.
New managing editor of The Keel, Liz Fredendall and her dog Nori. Liz Fredendall
Well gang, this is it: on to the next adventure. As I transition out of the managing editor role here at The Keel, I’m excited for the new projects that are ahead of me. I’m also excited for you all, as The Keel’s new managing editor Liz Fredendall knows more about the Blue Water Area than I’ll ever pretend to. You’re in good hands.
It was an odd time to take over The Keel in April 2020, as the COVID-19 pandemic upended so much of what we knew and so much of what we had planned. But it was also an exciting time to cover life on the Thumb Coast, to help share the stories of those people, organizations, and communities lending a hand to one another as we all sailed through waters we had never experienced before. I’ll never forget it.
See you around the bend,
