Big Powderhorn Mountain ski resort damaged by fire

The Big Powderhorn is a well-loved and well-known name among U.P. skiers. Its main lodge burnt down in a fire recently, although thankfully no one was hurt.

Excerpt: The main lodge at Big Powderhorn Mountain Resort in Michigan's Upper Peninsula was destroyed after catching fire late Thursday morning, Gogebic County Sheriff Pete Matonich said.

No injuries were reported from the fire at the Bessemer, Michigan resort.
