Iron Mountain business owners make changes for smoking ban

According to Nurse.com, Marquette General Hospital was one of just eight Michigan hospitals to earn a safety excellent award from a company that studies the quality of care patients receive.

Excerpt: HealthGrades, which conducts annual studies of hospital quality, has released its 2010 Patient Safety Excellence Awards.

The study looked at patient safety indicators from the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality to identify the patient safety incidence rates for every nonfederal hospital in the country using three years of Medicare data (2006-2008).
