ACE kick off set for Thursday in Ann Arbor

One of the larger entrepreneurial events in Michigan is set to get started Thursday afternoon on the north side of Ann Arbor

The Annual Collaboration for Entrepreneurship (ACE to those in the know) is all about encouraging people to take a stab at the American entrepreneurial dream. The event, in its 10th year, brings entrepreneurs from all across the Great Lakes region to network, show off new businesses and float new ideas.

Among the activities are a showcase presentation by James Herbert, CEO of Neogen Corporation, the ACE Elevator Pitch Competition: Six pitches judged by an investor panel, three interactive workshops about innovation in the Great Lakes, alternative/non-dilutive Financing and entrepreneurial company displays and early stage poster presentations.

The event will be held between 4-9 p.m. at Skyline High School. It costs $20 to attend. Click here for more information.
