Saline Lectronics expands, looks to add 10 new jobs in next two years

Focusing on industries outside the all-encompassing automotive realm has allowed Saline Lectronics to grow at a pretty decent clip in recent years.

The circuit-board manufacturer based in (you guessed it) Saline has watched its revenue grow about 24 percent each year in recent years. In that time it has created nearly 30 new jobs and it hopes to add at least another 10 people to its current roster of 90 within the next two years.

"We're hiring constantly," says Mario Sciberras, president and CEO of Saline Lectronics.

The company does "everything in the electronic field," but sees its best chances at success in the medical and aviation industries. It does business with the likes of Boeing and NASA but also sees a bright future helping produce cutting-edge medical tools, such as the Wound Vac system, which cleans wounds.

Saline Lectronics also recently approved for the
International Traffic in Arms Regulations by the U.S. Department of State. It hopes that the designation will help it to expand with some military contracts.
