Wildfire Innovation plans to make meeting people more efficient

Ever been to a mixer and had no idea who to speak to next? Gregory Pastor has and is coming up with a new way to make that process much more efficient.

"I just found that meeting people at events is inefficient and I found a better way to do it," Pastor says.

So he started Wildfire Innovation last spring to create a cell-phone application that will let people find the most relevant person for them to speak to. The idea is that a number of these applications will be used by a number of people at an event. That allows users to see the resume, background, interests, etc of every person in the room and let's them make better decisions about who to speak to.

"It's more about finding subject matter or finding individuals," Pastor says.

Right now he is working out of Ann Arbor SPARK Central Business Incubator in downtown Ann Arbor, performing market studies. He plans to validate the concept and have a pilot program up and running by next year.
